CYBIS Medical Systems, Inc. was founded in 1989 with the sole purpose of developing and supporting Quality Improvement software for the medical field that was efficient, easy-to-use, and reasonably priced. CYBIS currently maintains two distinct lines of QI software; The Emergency Department Discharge System (EDDS) and the Quality Care Program (QCP). The pioneering work behind these innovative programs has been led by Lee A. Norman, MD, MBA, MHS, and Philip A. Hardin, PhD. Dr. Norman, Vice President & Director of Medical Information at CYBIS, spearheads product development and medical review activities. He is a family physician and a Senior Vice President at Carondelet Health System where his responsibilities include Clinical Quality. Dr. Norman is a widely published authority on Quality Improvement, and brings extensive experience in both Emergency Department and Ambulatory Medical Care to the company and it's products. Dr. Hardin, President of CYBIS Medical Systems, Inc., is a computer scientist and graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  The work needed to produce future upgrades to our products, particularly the move to web-based platforms, while insuring the reliability, security and integrity of the software, will require major expenditures of resources. We want to assure our customers with ongoing support contracts that we will continue to provide prompt support with the same care, diligence and immediacy as in the past, as well as correct any "bugs" and work on special customer projects.
